Last week, it was super sweet to be Elite in Reno, as the community came together for a doughnut dedication at Rounds Bakery! Teams of Elites competed for the ultimate in bragging rights, a featured spot on the Rounds Bakery menu board as the October special! The night kicked off with a few rounds of Common Cider and a behind the scenes tour of this awesome local bakery, where Elites and their guests learned the secrets to making these decadent and delectable treats. Then they all had the chance to create one of their very own using our pantry, which was stocked with all sorts of crazy toppings like pretzels, Pop Rocks, pistachios, and even chili peppers and specialty glazes made from Common Cider, as well as the secret ingredients they brought just for the occasion! 12 entries were presented to our panel of esteemed judges, and after careful deliberation, the Harvest Glow, a blood orange glazed doughnut topped with marshmallows, pretzels, and pumpkin pie spice, was chosen as the winner!

This event was truly five star fun, and the reviews and photos dough-nut lie! Thanks to Rounds Bakery, Ashley Brune Communications and Chris Holloman for making this event awesome!
